Ali

Ali graduated from the UCL School of Pharmacy in London, England in 2020, where he was named to the Dean’s List in both his second and fourth years and achieved the highest mark in his year for the Pharmacy Practice module.

His experience in community pharmacy began at the age of 16 and continued throughout pharmacy school, giving him an early understanding of both patient care and the day-to-day operations of a pharmacy. Following graduation, Ali spent eight months working within a Family Health Team, where he gained valuable experience providing more clinically focused patient care. He became a licensed pharmacist in January 2022.

Before opening Wellness Point Pharmacy, Ali worked across a variety of chain, independent, and franchise pharmacies to gain exposure to different models of community pharmacy practice. In September 2022, he opened Wellness Point with a vision of creating a different kind of community pharmacy, with a greater emphasis on personalized care, clinical services, consultations, and proactive patient follow-up. Today, his primary focus is continuing to expand the clinical services available at Wellness Point and finding new ways for the pharmacy to support the health of its patients.

Outside of pharmacy, Ali serves as Commissioner of the Jaffari Basketball Association, a community-based mosque basketball league for children and adults. He is passionate about building community through the league and, when he is not organizing it, enjoys getting on the court and playing basketball himself.
